My cat is great. She is very self-sufficient and doesn't demand much from me.

As long as she has food to graze on, mine is wonderful. She's indoor/outdoor and either perches on the window ledge outside of resides in her favorite notch in the oak tree so she can see everything, lol. Thank God she can't talk. My son found her under an azalea bush at a friend's house after Katrina, she was about 8-9 wks old. He brought her home and here she's stayed. So, July will make her 15 people years old.

I'm with ya, origami, I'm a cat person simply because mine are indoor/outdoor and not 'needy', if that makes sense. My husband was always a dog person (me, not so much) and we have a canine addition that probably would be dead by now if he hadn't brought her home. She's a sweetheart but makes me absolutely bat$hitcrazy with her want of attention, lol.

Magda (cat) is long haired and when she grooms herself inside I have to vacuum more often, lol. I try to keep the dog off the furniture but in winter (when she sleeps inside) she's gotten into the habit of sleeping on the couch (her bed is evidently not cozy enough).
