We are still plodding along thanks for asking. No covid for us thank goodness. No local lockdown here either although parts of the UK do have local restrictions. A national policy of no more than six members in a house together here. That is fine for us.

Not quite - it's a Delia Smith recipe - uses actual steak rather than mince, loads of coriander (cilantro), fresh chili, black beans - just a bit more faff than your average chilli con carne. You strip the leaves off the coriander and use the stalks in the cooking and the leaves are used at the end, so way more chopping and, well faff. But it's yummy. You brown the meat, flour it etcetcetc

Yes, she's very opinionated. But what she does, (and tried to do to me) is talk a lot, with FEELING and authority, as if that makes it true. She kept trying to fast talk me into doing deals that weren't going to work. You have to really stand back and listen to hear what lies underneath.

our water bills are EXORBITANT here. seriously - water usage and waste water fees for August were $724!!!!!!! The other summer months (since June) have been no less than $500 .... we want to drill a water well for irrigation and pool. even if we move in the next 2 years, i think it would be a great selling point.
