we are in a battle with the state right now about the drainpipe. long story short, it is completely collapsed under my neighbor's driveway and no one wants to fix it, so it floods our yard every single rain now.

we may have to end up suing everyone. it's actually in our neighbor's deed that he has to maintain it, but the state has been unclogging it for 12 years, so they probably damaged it but they're saying it was probably damaged when the driveway was put in over it. it is also way too small for the amount of water that goes in it.

we have also struggled to get the HOA involved. they were quick to fine a house that was dumping water somehow onto the golf course but think this is not their problem. even though the fire dept. comes and closes the street now every time it rains.
