hope you get it soon too min. the roll out of the vaccine starts next month over here. first residents in aged care and their staff, then front-line workers, then people like myself with lots of medical issues. until it's my turn, i'm behaving like it is just around the corner. still using my mask and sanitising.

morning - butting in on Covid - I tested postive on 7 Jan (picked it up from g/daughter who we think was asymptomatic from a work contact) I was lucky had no breathing issues but felt awfully grim with high temps for 3 days - I am recovering well - just fatigue is the number one issue - I need to be patient - In all honest I can look back and say I have had worse doses of flu in my life but not the hanging on of not feeling 100% fit for weeks after.

I never felt a reason to be tested, totally asymptomatic, but I've worked from home and have tried to have minimal contact with others... I only learned of the antibodies because I have a yearly blood analysis (for comparison) and was asked if I wanted to check that, too, so I figured what can it hurt?

That only tells you if you have it active (I think), not if you've ever contacted it... I recommend (to all) that if they have bloodwork done for whatever reason, test for antibodies... Even the Red Cross does it if one is a doner

Crap, can't hurt. At least you'd know. I can't find a lot of data on carriers (if you have the antibodies can you still spread the flu type thing), so I do try to be careful around others.

but I tend to do that even when I only have a case of heavy pollen... the building I work in (not open, yet, since March) has about 80 people in prairie dog desks and we have a yearly "spread the bug" fest. (No sick leave and who wants to take vacation to be sick at home) So, I have people coughing/hacking because they are ill and can't afford to stay home. At least we have "dividers" (like that helps with the air flow, lol).
