Aaaah - the C word (and other 'offensive' words) conversation rears its head again. My view (which I've expressed before) is that they ARE words, but stripped of meaning when in a wordgame word list - they only have power if we give them that power and if we use them in context. Removing them from a word list (or a dictionary) doesn't remove them from the language

Also, one person's deeply offensive word (and this can vary by where you live, how you were brought up etc) is another's mild expletive. I mean, it was a fairly big deal when the Original Series Star Trek episode (The City on the Edge of Forever), in 1966, had the dialogue 'let's get the hell out of here'
