it's been really busy. Started with a meeting with my new investment advisor then some grocery shopping, getting the turkey soup going and some gardening. To top it all off, my neighbour phoned last night to tell me that that I had left my garage doors open and mentioned that the carwash place in the neighbourhood had a half price sale on, so I took the hint and washed my car :)

ever since we moved here there's been a whole thing about the gate closest to us. it was an automatic gate, then they added a speed bump, then they added two arms, because they're terrified people are tailgating in. it's very overkill.
