For the A-words: there are a 5/18 and a 6/30, both exclamations, for the 6 the yell is just prolonged. I believe the 5 has come by before. Think of the sound one would make when seeing something disgusting.

Also a C-frequenter in this grids: C4/15. Think of russion monarchy.

Funny, it's always the same with me. Seems that about half is what I get without help. After that, it is clues, stats and definitions that I need to finish. :D

I have the 2 8's and a d/7/60. Would someone be kind enough to give clues for the other 7 letter words. Thanks.
3:03 pm
Bash

Don't have your d7, but a d7/44 - a type of drawing or outline. Have a g7/48 - a facial expression associated with pain or discomfort. And an m7/44 - unexplainable event...usually need a few of these associated with you in order to be considered for sainthood.
3:08 pm
periwinkle

bash, thanks so much. found them all.
For the d/7/60. it is based on a d/6/36 which means principle or law that orders the universe (hinduism/buddism). Or the first part
of a sitcom in the states about a man and woman who marry on the first date.
3:14 pm

D7/68: chemistry compound with five-sided ring structure
G7/36: one of a series of steps or tiered seats, as in an amphitheater
G7/36: plural of former, but different spelling (G6/24)
R7/40: small branch of a root; a rootlet (2 different spellings)
4:59 pm
Bash

Have n4/7. Can't find the other n. Any clues? Thanks!
5:12 pm
DarleenMB

I'm still stuck on the amphitheater seats :-O
5:12 pm

You need an N4/5: nests, especially for the eggs of insects, spiders, or small animals; cavities where spores develop.
5:14 pm
sprite

DarleenMB: think of how they call food with melted cheese on it, the french term... and then change the 4th letter. Hope that helps!

The (2) R7/40 is a small branch of a root, a rootlet. Just switch the last two letters.
I need a clue for the D7/68 - the chemistry compound just won't work for me.
7:17 pm
Mary

As an afterthought, I have a total of 96 words and I've been at it practically all day except for stopping to cook, eat, etc. How do you all get all of the words. I've never even gotten close.
8:44 pm
Bash

Mary, that chemical one is tough. I used several serach engines to find it, and then only found it because I found a shorter part of it definted.
8:45 pm
Bash

If you find an a5/28 that means this: "A class of organic compounds having a five-membered heterocyclic ring with two double bonds", add two letters to the beginning to get the d7.
8:46 pm
Mary

Finally got the D7/68, Nite all.
9:22 pm
fit1

How many d7's are there?
9:43 pm
Bash

d7/60, d7/44, d7/68
9:47 pm

fit1: there are 3 D/7's d/60, d/68, d/44
