onyx, input can be used as a verb and infact i see it quite frequnetly when refering to entering data not just the data if that makes any sense...buncat you on? got any more insight?

bigbird, thanks so much for that w clue i went on a search for it and i found a wonderful website with great tips on flowers and all types of gardening and certain plants to attract butterflies etc...thanks so much, i get overwhelmed in a store, never know what to buy...ty ty ty :)

Dear Babble God (& anyone else!),
I often play on two computers, and I just noticed that on yesterday's puzzle that not all of my words registered -- only the ones that I entered during the day. When I play in the evening on a different computer, all the words I entered earlier are there, so I didn't think there was a problem.

I suspect that this has been happening for a while, as I noticed that even though my score has been steady, my ranking keeps going down.

Any ideas?

I was logged in, as I never log out, and I've been playing on multiple computers for more than a year. All the words I entered earlier in the day were there, but when I view yesterday's puzzle and see that my final score was much lower than the score I had last night, I checked the list. Less than half my total words are there. In the evening, the list that I had begun earlier in the day on a different computer (different location/connection/IP) was there and everything seemed normal.

I have actually had the same thing happen, as I play at work and at home. I will find words missing. But when I put them in, I will get the message that I already used the word and it will pop up again. I have checked to make sure it actually is happening - and it is.

I don't have the full stats BUT the grid has about 194 words with 15 of 7 or over, this solver is not always spot on and I had no one to help so I was squinting so I couldn't see any words, but at least we should have some idea.

i was on at the start of the new puzzle, hubby got stats but i'm never quite sure if people want them posted that early or not??? i usually babble for awhile before i read posts...any suggestions???

Personally I love to recieve the stats... otherwise you could have all the words and not know and be sitting looking for hours for nothing... also you know what your aiming for. I would appricaiate it.

baggo...personally, i like them right away so i can use them as a guide. i do what i can on my own, then look more closely at the stats. but thats just me.

oh, and since we have decided that grand total is 198, then that means that the count for either the 4's, 5's, 6'es, or 7's i posted are too high by one...anyone know which?

I love the fact that stats are posted at all. When I first started playing, posting stats was kind of a rare thing. So the earlier the stats are posted, the better. Me likes :)
