i think society has reached such a point that popular culture and intellectual activities such as Babble have crossed over each other and become fused. In short, 'Ewok' should be a word.

Boreetos, I vote that we can only make ewok a word if we make SETI a word. Still grumbling about that one from the other day . . . it accepts other acronyms . . . ;)
Also, I seriously think Babble ought to allow names of languages, being that it allows names of currency, and also proper nouns that can also be used as commonplace adjectives, such as Hindu, or ajectives derived from proper nouns, such as Asian, especially since it for some reason allows Mayan and Celtic! But I digress . . .
Who knows; maybe the game would lose its mystique if it weren't so darned quirky about what it considers real words . . .

					Okay, so I must be missing a we4. I have we4/7 x 5, we4/8, we4/11 x 4 and we4/9. A total of 18 x w4. Is that right?

I've got 6 x we4/7s. What ones do you have?

					8:42 pm
					brandyjack

There are only 10 WE4's. I don't put point scores in there, just the first two letters, total length of the word, then number of words. Your total seems to be more than that.

					8:42 pm
					Anj

					Sorted! Goodnight :)

					9:09 pm
					sj

Babbler I just found the we4/7 plus 'ed' word that you did. What's the other we6 hint?

					9:12 pm
					Babbler

					9:13 pm

					brandyjack

					grrr.
we6/30, to know + suffix

					9:23 pm
					Babbler

sj - the we6 is the we4/7 + ed. The we4/7 is a Chaucerian (??) word for wet. I don't know how else to describe, I only found it by accident! : ))). The we4/7 in question sounds like a grain.......

					9:23 pm
					sj

					thank you both so much!

					9:25 pm
					Babbler

thanks brandyjack + swmbo. just the leguminous plant to find for the Cs....

Do you have the De 6 word that would be associated with temperature?

					9:36 pm
					Hugabugs

EgelNest - Yes I do. I think the one I have missing is de6/30

					9:36 pm
					swmbo

de6/24 is what you get when you graduate from university.

					9:36 pm
					brandyjack

the de6/24 is similar to a de5/18 (indian gov't operative), but no definition availble. double up the vowel

					9:36 pm
					EgelNest

I have tried looking for that one too :)
Good Luck!

					9:37 pm
					brandyjack

that's twice. the DE6/30 is the funky one. de6/24 is temperature related.

					9:40 pm

does anyone have another clue for the co6 leguminous climbing plant? thx

					9:41 pm

found a progyy that will generate the wordlist on screen. then i cross my eyes, cut and paste to a text file. Then i wrote a proggy in old GWBASIC that mashes the text file and generates the stats. Occasionally I don't cross my eyes enough and get a couple of free words.

					10:21 pm
					Jax

Ijust found my last D. Whoo Hoo. But I'm stuck on that darn A. I need an AW 6 and I think I have the 2 ones that are kinda repeated throughout the puzzle
So I need the other one.

					10:22 pm
					Jax

Thanks Babbler. Let ne know if I can help with the D and maybe swap some W's, unless 2 that you are missing are same for me!

					10:24 pm

					10:26 pm

well, the two aw6/36's are when someone does it to you or you do it on your own. AW6/39 is when you are too worn out to aw6/36 or be aw6/36'd.

					10:26 pm
					Babbler

jax-- the a6/36?? the one where you a-tired? (that's a cheeky clue)!

					10:26 pm

i'm braindead! I mean there are four de5s of course. I've got what you get from da sun as well...

thanks! lot of wacky words in this one.

					11:00 pm

Babbler - the w4/10 is to ebb, from Chaucer. you usually think of this word with a vowel on the end. the w4/7 is and old word for worse. Think Iraq and add another vowel in the middle.
