Rob is not doing great. His knees are killing him. We are waiting for the specialist to get through the waiting list. Rob is walking with a cane now. And the gout is also still acting up a lot. Still, he sleeps so much better and that makes a huge difference. Especially in temper :)

yes, the problem with chronic illnesses and conditions is that you do not land into them full force. It builds up slowly and you adapt, and before you know it, you think it is normal. Like Rob being chronically sleep deprived for ages. Only now do we realise how bad it has been.

no honey, we cannot. Problem is, we are not officially living here. Our official residence is still in Almere. Only once we will have a permanent place to live where we can actually register as our place of residence, will we be able to get a local gp. Rob went back to our gp to get the referral to the specialist for his knees. It is not ideal.

now that Caya is done with her study, we are going to discuss (today) how much support they still need from us and if it is feasable that we move away. If so, I will start searching for a permanent home.
